Paris
PARIS 💛
Paris, France was the first leg of my 10 day Europe Trip in October
2016.
As French is my second language, I loved Paris!
In Paris, I stayed with a friend for the first 2 days and on day 3 I stayed an airport hotel as I had an early flight to London, England the following day.
Hotel: B&B Hotel Paris Roissy CDG Aeroport 3.5 star
Highlights: There is A LOT to see and do in Paris therefore it is
important that you either take a tour or get someone who lives there to take
you out. Luckily my friend's son was available to be a tour guide for me J
On the days we explored, we took the subway AND LET ME TELL YOU IT WAS CONFUSING! You can definitely get lost easily if you are not paying attention to the stops. Otherwise for transportation I took an Uber to/from the airport. I would have loved to rent a car but they drive on the opposite side of the road which I am not use to!

Recommendations: There are a lot of attractions in Paris such as the Eiffel Tower, Le Louvre, Arc du Triomphe, etc. The shopping district also looked very nice and upscale!
*** Keep in mind when booking that there are a few airports in Paris: I flew into Orly Airport and departed from Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Food: Cannot give you a food rating for this trip as I did not really eat out.
Pros:
Loved that I could speak French EVERYWHERE!
Beautiful landmarks.
Loved the European architecture and narrow streets.
There are a lot of cafes.
Cons:
Beware of thieves; keep your belongings close especially if you are alone or at the subway station.

People were not as friendly as I thought they would be when we asked for directions to certain places.
The Eiffel Tower
Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel
(this is in the same area as Le Louvre Museum)
