In 2018, I went to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic twice and absolutely loved it!!! Most people have always told me to go to Punta Cana as the beaches and night life is better but I loved this resort so much I had to go back!  


Hotel: Be Live Collection Marien 4 star all-inclusive for 7 days. 

Recommendations:  Check out the excursions as they all look wonderful. I personally went on a half day horseback riding excursion and it was AMAZING. You go up/down a mountain, through a valley and you visit a school where you meet the teacher and children. Take a day trip into the city by public transportation. 
Food is excellent 10/10 (considering I am a pescatarian)
Pros FOOD, the people are AMAZING and the entertainment is awesome.

Cons: None


LOVE THIS RESORT SO MUCH IT WILL NOW BE MY FAMILY'S YEARLY FAMILY VACATION SPOT 😏

Hey Friends! As promised here is my "go to packing list" that I wanted to share with you all. Keep in mind that you may not always need everything on this list or things may be missing depending on your personal preferences. To stay ahead of the game, you can always check the weather of your destination as you may not need certain items depending on the location/season to where you are traveling!  A new item that I have been using are packing cubes which allows you to pack more in a small space. Road Trips 🚗

Hey Friends 💖 Since my blog is all about traveling, I wanted to talk about road tripping! “I been trippin, I'm trip trippin " ♫♫♫ When I was a kid, my parents would always take my brother and I on road trips to Québec City to visit our family. At the time, I lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia so that was 12 hours in the car! 😐  To be honest, I do not enjoy driving long hours anymore but I must admit road trips can be fun and an adventure when you are traveling with people! I have taken numerous road trips from Toronto, such as to Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Ottawa, Québec, Montreal, Blue Mountain, Nova Scotia, Virginia and Florida! If you are not in a hurry to get to your destination, I would say stop somewhere on your way and check out a new town/city!
