Road Trips 🚗

Hey Friends 💖 Since my blog is all about traveling, I wanted to talk about road tripping! “I been trippin, I'm trip trippin " ♫♫♫ When I was a kid, my parents would always take my brother and I on road trips to Québec City to visit our family. At the time, I lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia so that was 12 hours in the car! 😐  To be honest, I do not enjoy driving long hours anymore but I must admit road trips can be fun and an adventure when you are traveling with people! I have taken numerous road trips from Toronto, such as to Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Ottawa, Québec, Montreal, Blue Mountain, Nova Scotia, Virginia and Florida! If you are not in a hurry to get to your destination, I would say stop somewhere on your way and check out a new town/city! Keep in mind that a road trip DOES NOT have to be somewhere far and you can always go on a day trip.  If you do choose to go somewhere for more than 24 hours, I would recommend that you explore events and/or things to d

Money Saving Tips

The  #1  thing people always ask me is how can you afford so many trips ?! 😨 Well definitely you need a source of income to be able to travel but what I always find helpful is using the following tips to save cost before and during my vacations: 1. Booking flights Some people may beg to differ but I find the best time to find the cheapest flights are on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. It is also known that the cheapest days to travel are during the weekdays. I personally use specific websites for booking flights as although they are third party websites, they determine the cheapest flights with most airlines. The top websites I use for flights are: skyscanner.ca or expedia.ca All inclusive vacations: tripcentral.ca or selloffvacations.com (there are walk-in locations across Canada as well). Also, for all of you that live in Toronto or nearby, I follow YYZdeals.ca - sign up for their email alert on cheap flights all around the world. There are always cheap fli

Packing List

Hey Friends! As promised here is my "go to packing list" that I wanted to share with you all. Keep in mind that you may not always need everything on this list or things may be missing depending on your personal preferences. To stay ahead of the game, you can always check the weather of your destination as you may not need certain items depending on the location/season to where you are traveling!  A new item that I have been using are packing cubes which allows you to pack more in a small space. (I did mention this in my “Money Saving Tips” but just in case you missed it). Packing cubes can be found online on amazon, Walmart and Marshalls/Winners and - prices range from 17-40$ CAD. Another helpful packing tip would be to try your best to plan outfits that way you do NOT over pack. * PLEASE learn to roll your clothes and/or fold them very small. (Trust me, you live and learn LOL) Packing list: Outfit for the plane ride back T

Welcome to Travel Niche Kish 💗

Hey Friends! Welcome to My Blog Travel Niche Kish ! I decided to start a blog to document my travel journey that began 8 years ago to share my memories and ideas with the world. Yes, I have traveled to places prior to 8 years ago, but traveling really became my passion after traveling for a girls trip to Cuba in 2011.  To date, I have had the opportunity to travel to 12 countries and 16 US States solo, with friends and/or with family. Every time my friends or family are planning a trip, they always ask me where they should go, what hotel/resort they should choose and what things can they do/see while on vacation. I must say, I am not an expert on all of the places I have traveled to but I definitely have learned  A LOT  in every place. I have always been encouraged by my friends and family to share my experiences, photos and ideas - therefore I have decided to create a blog doing just that :) In my blog, I will be sharing my past travel locations, hotels/resorts, attraction
