TRAVELING BY BUS

🚌TRAVELING BY BUS ðŸšŒ

Hey Friends!

If you follow my Instagram (goldxheartx) you would have followed my recent stories related to traveling via bus.

I love going on vacations (short or long) therefore I enjoy taking advantage of any form of traveling whether it is via plane, train, road trip or now by bus. Yes, I have had a chance to go on a bus trips in my teenage years but it was not at my own leisure, it was planned by others!

As you may already know my goal is to encourage and inspire others to travel on a budget so I needed to share this cheap way to travel with you all!

In the last 2 months, I have taken the Greyhound bus and Megabus.

In December 2019, it was my first time taking a Greyhound bus and it was comfortable, convenient and cheap. I traveled from Ottawa to Toronto for only 40$ CAD and the trip was 4.5 hours as it made 1 stop on the way!

On Cyber Monday 2019, Megabus gave away free bus tickets in Canada and the USA and I was able to score a round trip from Toronto to Halifax for a weekend in January 2020 FOR FREE!  Yes, you read that right 0$!

In January 2020, Megabus had the same deal again with specific travel dates to specific destinations. I often see Megabus’ on the road and advertisements that indicate that they have one way trips as low as 1$!

If you are looking to travel from one state, city or town to another for free or a cheap rate I would definitely recommend that you take the bus. Less money you have to spend on driving your own car, paying for gas and parking 😀

Pros: Wi-Fi, comfortable seats, bathrooms on board and clean. You can also purchase tickets and snacks at the departure station.

Cons: You will most likely be sitting next to someone. You do have the option to reserve seating for a fee, otherwise it is first come first serve.

Sit back, relax with a good book or show!
